Wildflower Hike – Talbot Trail Lamoille Canyon

UPDATE: DUE TO SNOW AT HIGHER ELEVATIONS THIS HIKE HAS BEEN MOVED TO TALBOT TRAIL. PARKING FOR THE TRAILHEAD IS JUST SOUTH OF THE POWERHOUSE PICNIC AREA TURNOFF.

 

Join a Ranger for a Walk on the Wild Side! Wild FLOWERS that is! Bring your flower ID books, daypacks w/jacket, lunch, and water and lets go take a hike!

 

This trail is 3.8 miles out and back and is considered a moderate level hike. Please dress for the weather and stay hydrated. Plan to be on the trail for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

This event is NOT at the Trail Center. Hikers will meet up at Talbot Trailhead.
Recommended items to bring with you:

  • Hiking boots or shoes with good traction. Open-toed shoes and sandals are not recommended.
  • Water
  • Lunch
  • Jacket
  • Daypack
  • Sunblock and bug spray
