Beginning Monday, 7/17/23 through Friday, 7/21/23 there will be intermittent closures for the Hunter Exit 292 on and offramps of Interstate 80 (I-80) resulting in delays for travelers looking to visit the California Trail Interpretive Center.
At times during the closures, visitors heading westbound on the I-80 may need to travel to Carlin, NV, and return eastbound to access the CTIC. At other times visitors heading eastbound on the I-80 may need to travel to Elko, NV, and return westbound to access the facility.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may incur for those wishing to visit the California Trail Interpretive Center, however, we will still be open!
